US TO SELL DRONES TO MEXICO TO FIGHT DRUG CARTELS
Mexico’s Secretary of National Defense, General Salvador Cienfuegos Zepeda has been working intimately with US Secretary of State John Kerry on a number of deals regarding inside intelligence on drug cartel actions and weapons exchange, specifically drones. In exchange for access to both weaponized and intelligence drones and CIA Intelligence information, Zepeda is allowing the United States to fly its own drones over Mexican airspace and access to information regarding Mexico’s military capabilities and movements. Zepeda and Kerry have clearly bypassed more diplomatic means of combating cartel actions, and have moved straight into militarizing their operations.
