"The state of Michoacán would like President Enrique Peña Nieto to understand we love our nation and find his acts of intimidation misplaced. We became reluctant to hand over El Chapo to Mexican authorities, after of Mexican government and involvement with The Sinaloa Cartel Leader Ismael Zambada García, "El Mayo” had been proved. We want the Mexican people to know we are here to clean up our nation. We will work with everyone that can help us do so. It saddens us the Mexican government failed to help us with this."
