Committee Statement
"While the Mexican government appreciates the passion and dedication that vigilantes have shown for the safety of fellow Mexicans, we are at a point where the vigilantes must stand together with our government and our nation as a whole, and decide whether they will lay down their arms and help prevent further bloodshed. We welcome all vigilante groups who are interested in becoming a pillar of this country to contact the government. Those who not choose will be required to disarm or face prosecution as per our national laws. Vigilantes have 24 hours."
