FBI Starts Investigation on CIA Director

In an action that is reminiscent of J Edgar Hoover, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has begun investigations on Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan. A recently leaked cable from the CIA Director states:

“Special Activities Division out of Mexico City.

Deliver $80 million to AZ Steel Company in Mexico City
Provide AK 47's, FN FAL, and TOW missiles to Vigilantes.
Ready CIA transport planes for transport of El Chapo and vigilantes trainees to Diego Garcia.
Capture the Mexican Federal Police Commissioner via special activities operation.
Ambush the meeting with the Sinaloa leader and kill her.”

Concerns from within the National Security Council about the Director have been heard in the halls of the White House. While combating the drug cartels has been the focus of the government recently, we must be weary of giving military grade weapons and CIA support to a group of vigilantes in Mexico. These are groups that cannot be trusted or controlled and have come under fire for actions by both the US and Mexican governments as well as the media.

FBI investigations further revealed that the $80 million stayed in Mexico while the operation failed. There were no deaths on either side of the failed assassination attempt.
