"The Sinaloa Cartel is tired of the Zetas brutality and lack of honor. Despite their lies the Zetas are responsible for the kidnap and torture of our innocent brother and leader. Let it be known from this day forward that the Zetas Cartel is no more. We did not start this feud but we will end it. Control of the states of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Tamaulipas will immediately begin transitioning to the Sinaloa Cartel. We will do everything in our power to not harm any innocents or cause unnecessary violence. The Sinaloa Cartel is as merciful as it is powerful, however, and will provide amnesty to all Zetas members, government officials, and individuals who cooperate with our cartel. Let it be known, the Sinaloa Cartel will not butcher innocent people as the Zetas have. Under our jurisdiction the people will be fed, clothed, and happy. Once a poor and rural part of Mexico the people of the state of Sinaloa now live in large houses and drive new cars; it shall be the same for any who support us. Long live the Sinaloa Cartel and long live Mexico!"
